I am Sam Mayhew, a Graphic Designer in the South West of England. This blog is mainly my inspiration blog, however I often post my own work.
“Greenwich Gull” was a freelance project to create a logo for a Torquay United fan Twitter. The Twitter consists of team news, scores and views on the football club. However, the logo was merely the Torquay United badge and the fan wanted instead something which demonstrated his love for football and for Torquay. After discussing his requirements, I decided upon the idea of the Torquay United emblem placed upon a blue and yellow football background to coincide with the team’s colouring. The Twitter account is @GreenwichGull.
